The IK Multimedia ARC Studio speaker calibration system has been designed to correct the acoustic flaws in your studio space, and creating a unique profile for the room you're in couldn't be any simpler. The included ARC software comes with a step-by-step tutorial to help you out using the included MEMS measurement microphone. You can even create separate profiles for different listening positions, like a profile for your preferred mixing position, a profile for your casual listening position from the sofa in the back of the room, etcetera. This way, you can also treat any guests to an unbiased listening experience. Want to see how how your mixes hold up when they're played through a different speaker system? No problem! The ARC software features various emulations of completely different speaker systems.
ARC Studio Processor
Once you've created a profile, it can be run by the ARC Studio processor. This is a standalone processor, which means that once the profile has been loaded, you're free to close the software and disconnect the processor from your computer. Hook up the processor between your sound source and your speakers and enjoy perfectly calibrated audio playback. While the sound source could be your audio interface, the ARC Studio is a standalone system, so can also form part of a fully analogue setup.
